1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

This Terms of Service Agreement (“Agreement”) governs access to and use of the ResearchChemHQ website, including purchases, accounts, communications, content, and services provided by ResearchChemHQ (“ResearchChemHQ,” “RCHQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accepting this Agreement at checkout or through another acceptance process provided on our website, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms.

If you are purchasing on behalf of a laboratory, company, institution, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to act on its behalf.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not create an account or purchase products.

Our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy form part of this Agreement. Nothing in these terms limits rights or obligations that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

2. Research-Use-Only Disclaimer

All products sold by ResearchChemHQ are intended strictly for laboratory, analytical, and scientific research purposes only.

Products are not offered or authorized for:

• Human consumption or administration, or veterinary or animal use.
• Clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or medical use.
• Food, beverage, cosmetic, or dietary supplement use.
• Compounding, resale, or redistribution for human or animal use.

Products must not be used outside lawful, controlled laboratory research.

ResearchChemHQ does not provide instructions or recommendations for human or animal dosing, administration, treatment, or consumption.

Product descriptions, supporting documents, and scientific references are provided for research-related information. They do not authorize prohibited uses or establish that a product is safe or suitable for those uses.

Purchasing products for a prohibited purpose or misrepresenting research intent is a material breach of this Agreement.

3. Customer Representations & Acknowledgments

By purchasing from ResearchChemHQ, you represent and agree that:

• You are at least 21 years old.
• You are purchasing solely for lawful laboratory, analytical, or scientific research.
• You have the knowledge, training, equipment, and facilities needed to handle the materials appropriately.
• You understand that research materials may present hazards and require appropriate handling, storage, and disposal.
• You will provide accurate order information and will not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or intended use.
• You will comply with applicable laws and will not request guidance for prohibited uses.

ResearchChemHQ relies on these representations when reviewing and processing orders. Providing false or misleading information may result in refusal of service, order cancellation, or account restrictions, subject to applicable law.

4. Regulatory & Legal Compliance

ResearchChemHQ supplies materials for qualified scientific research. Products are labeled or represented as For Research Use Only and Not for Human or Veterinary Use.

Customers are responsible for the legal requirements applicable to their own activities, including research, possession, handling, storage, transfer, disposal, and any import or export.

Depending on the material and activity, these requirements may include the Toxic Substances Control Act, workplace and laboratory safety requirements, chemical handling rules, and institutional approvals.

This Agreement does not transfer ResearchChemHQ’s own legal obligations to the customer.

ResearchChemHQ does not provide legal, regulatory, medical, clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic advice.

5. Intellectual Property & Patent Responsibility

The listing, sale, or transfer of a product does not grant a license under any patent, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property right.

Customers are responsible for determining whether their research, use, transfer, or other activities require permission or licensing from a rights holder.

Nothing in this Agreement represents that a particular research activity is exempt from applicable intellectual property restrictions.

6. Order Processing & Shipping

ResearchChemHQ processes orders Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and major holidays.

Orders placed and paid before 12 PM Central Time, with payment confirmed before that cutoff, typically ship the same business day.

Orders received after the cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays may ship the following business day.

Processing may be affected by payment verification, inventory availability, fulfillment volume, weather, carrier conditions, or operational disruptions. Backorder notices and estimated restock information will appear on product pages when available.

If we cannot ship within the stated timeframe, we will notify you and provide the delay, cancellation, and refund options required by applicable law. A processing estimate or final-sale policy does not eliminate those obligations.

For shipping claims under this Agreement, the ship date is the date the carrier accepts the package, not the date a shipping label is created.

7. Shipping Methods, Cost & Delivery Estimates

FedEx 2Day® Shipping

Domestic U.S. orders to eligible street addresses ship using FedEx 2Day®.

Orders over $300 USD qualify for Free FedEx 2Day® Shipping to eligible domestic street addresses. Shipping charges for other orders are displayed at checkout.

FedEx 2Day® generally delivers by the end of the second business day. Saturday delivery is a separate option in certain areas and is not guaranteed with our standard shipping service.

For our delivery estimates and loyalty guarantee:

• Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding carrier-observed holidays.
• Saturdays and Sundays do not count as business days.
• The two-business-day window is counted beginning the business day after FedEx accepts the package before the applicable carrier cutoff. Packages accepted after that cutoff may begin the shipping cycle the following business day.

Creating a shipping label does not start the delivery window. Delivery timing is not measured from when an order is placed or paid.

PO Box Orders

Orders addressed to PO boxes ship through USPS, not FedEx 2Day®.

USPS delivery estimates depend on the service used. PO box deliveries and all USPS shipments are excluded from the FedEx 2Day® Loyalty Guarantee.

Eligible USPS shipments still receive free Shipping Protection.

Tracking & Carrier Delays

Tracking information will be sent to the email address associated with your order.

Delivery may be affected by weather, holidays, carrier volume, regional disruptions, operational issues, address errors, or failed delivery attempts.

ResearchChemHQ cannot control carrier operations. These limitations do not override approved Shipping Protection claims, eligible loyalty-guarantee benefits, or remedies required by law.

8. FedEx 2Day® Loyalty Guarantee

If an eligible FedEx 2Day® shipment arrives later than two business days after FedEx acceptance, ResearchChemHQ will issue $20 USD in loyalty points to your customer account.

Eligibility requires that the order shipped using FedEx 2Day® and that tracking confirms delivery outside the applicable two-business-day window.

The guarantee excludes delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses, missing apartment or suite numbers, failed delivery attempts, weather events, holiday disruptions, customer action or inaction, or documented carrier exceptions outside normal transit timing.

Weekends and carrier-observed holidays do not count toward the two-business-day window. PO box deliveries and all USPS shipments are excluded.

This complimentary benefit applies to eligible FedEx 2Day® shipments whether shipping was paid or free.

The guarantee is a ResearchChemHQ loyalty benefit, not a FedEx-issued guarantee. It is issued as loyalty points only, not a cash refund, shipping reimbursement, return authorization, cancellation, or replacement.

Submit loyalty-guarantee requests within 30 calendar days of the ship date by emailing support@researchchemhq.co with your order and tracking numbers.

9. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for entering complete and accurate shipping and contact information at checkout.

Verify your street address or PO box, apartment or suite number, city, state, ZIP code, recipient name, and contact details before submitting an order.

Missing apartment, suite, or unit numbers are customer address errors.

Loss, misdelivery, returns, or delivery failures caused by incorrect or incomplete customer-provided information are not eligible for a refund, free replacement, free reshipment, store credit, loyalty credit, or Shipping Protection benefit under this policy, except where required by law.

Contact support immediately if you discover an error. Address corrections cannot be guaranteed once an order has been submitted.

An unrelated address or contact error does not automatically invalidate an otherwise eligible product claim.

10. All Sales Are Final

Due to the specialized nature of research-use-only materials, all sales are final, except for confirmed ResearchChemHQ errors, verified product issues, approved Shipping Protection claims, or remedies required by applicable law.

Order changes, cancellations, discretionary refunds, and partial refunds generally cannot be accommodated after submission.

Please review your product selections, quantities, shipping address, payment details, and order total before completing checkout.

Contact support immediately if you need assistance. We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or stopped.

This final-sale policy does not eliminate approved policy remedies or legally required cancellation and refund rights.

11. Free Shipping Protection Terms & Conditions

Included With Every Order

Shipping Protection is automatically included at no extra cost with every order. No purchase or checkout selection is required.

Protection applies to eligible FedEx and USPS shipments under the terms below.

Free Shipping Protection does not mean that shipping is free on every order. Free FedEx 2Day® Shipping remains subject to the over-$300 threshold and eligible-address requirements.

Eligible Coverage

Shipping Protection may cover carrier-confirmed loss, verified misdelivery, damage during transit, or verified theft during transit before successful delivery.

Claims are reviewed using tracking information, carrier findings, photos, and other relevant documentation.

Approved claims may result in a replacement, store credit, loyalty credit, refund, or another appropriate resolution, subject to applicable law.

Damaged Packages

Please report shipping damage within 24 hours of delivery.

Provide your order number, a description of the damage, and clear photos of the affected products, outer packaging, and shipping label.

Keep the products and all packaging until your claim is resolved. Additional documentation may be requested.

Lost or Undelivered Packages

A delayed package is not automatically considered lost.

Packages without confirmed delivery become eligible for a lost-package review after 14 calendar days from the ship date.

If FedEx or USPS confirms loss or misdelivery, the order may qualify for a replacement or another resolution under Shipping Protection.

You may contact support before the 14-day mark to report a concern. We may request a carrier case number, findings, or supporting documentation.

Packages Marked Delivered

If tracking shows Delivered but you cannot locate the package, check the delivery details and ask household members, building staff, or your receiving department.

Contact the carrier to open a delivery investigation, then notify ResearchChemHQ with your order number and case details.

A delivered scan does not prevent review when the carrier confirms misdelivery.

If the carrier confirms successful delivery to the address entered at checkout, the shipment is not eligible for a non-delivery refund or replacement under Shipping Protection, except where required by law.

Theft after confirmed successful delivery is not covered.

Successful delivery does not prevent review of a separate claim involving damaged, incorrect, missing, or defective products.

Coverage Exclusions

Shipping Protection does not cover delivery problems caused by incorrect customer-provided information, refused packages, failed delivery attempts, or customer failure to retrieve or accept a package.

It also excludes packages marked delivered without carrier-confirmed loss or misdelivery, theft after confirmed successful delivery, and transit delays alone.

Weather and holiday delays are not covered as standalone claims. Eligible late FedEx 2Day® deliveries may qualify for the separate loyalty guarantee in Section 8.

Claim Requirements

Submit Shipping Protection claims within 30 calendar days of the ship date. Shipping damage must also be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Email support@researchchemhq.co with:

• Your order number, tracking number, and a clear description of the issue.
• Relevant photos of the products, packaging, and shipping label.
• Any carrier case number, findings, or supporting documentation.

Submit your claim before the deadline even if the carrier investigation remains open.

These reporting deadlines do not shorten rights or deadlines provided by applicable law.

12. Refund & Return Policy

General Policy

ResearchChemHQ does not accept routine returns or provide discretionary refunds for changes of mind, ordering mistakes, misunderstanding a product’s intended research purpose, or dissatisfaction arising from prohibited use.

Do not return any product without written authorization.

Incorrect, Missing, or Defective Products

Contact support promptly if you receive the wrong product, an order is missing an item, or you believe a product has a quality issue.

Provide your order number, product name, batch number if available, and supporting photos or documentation.

Confirmed ResearchChemHQ errors or verified product issues may qualify for a replacement, refund, or another appropriate resolution.

Opening a product does not automatically disqualify a claim involving a defect or error that existed when supplied. Issues caused by customer handling, contamination, improper storage, alteration, or misuse are not covered.

Limited Exceptions

ResearchChemHQ may authorize an exceptional return, replacement, store credit, loyalty credit, refund, or other resolution after reviewing the circumstances.

Discretionary exceptions do not change the general final-sale policy. Legally required remedies are not discretionary.

Authorized Returns & Restocking Fees

Written return authorization will explain the return instructions, required condition, deadline, and applicable charges.

Authorized discretionary returns must be received and inspected before the discretionary refund or credit is finalized.

A 20% restocking fee may apply to approved discretionary returns. Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable for those returns.

Restocking fees do not apply to confirmed ResearchChemHQ errors, approved Shipping Protection claims, or refunds for which such fees are prohibited by law.

Any refund of shipping charges will depend on the reason for the return and applicable requirements.

Approved Refunds

Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method. If that method cannot receive a refund, we will arrange an alternative permitted by applicable law and payment-provider requirements.

Payment-processing restrictions do not eliminate legally required refunds. Store credit or loyalty points will not replace a monetary refund where applicable law requires money to be returned. Required refunds will be issued within the applicable legal deadline. eCFR

We will confirm the approved resolution and provide available processing information.

13. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Please contact support@researchchemhq.co promptly about an order or payment concern so we have an opportunity to help.

Contacting ResearchChemHQ is not a condition of exercising applicable statutory billing-error rights. It does not replace or extend deadlines for notifying your bank or payment provider.

If a dispute is filed, ResearchChemHQ may provide relevant order details, payment records, checkout confirmations, tracking information, delivery documentation, accepted terms, and support communications to the payment provider, as permitted by law.

A good-faith dispute is not, by itself, fraud or a breach of this Agreement.

ResearchChemHQ may refuse future service or pursue available remedies where there is documented fraud, knowingly false information, or abuse of payment systems.

Any recovery of dispute costs or legal expenses must be permitted by applicable law or an appropriate legal award. Such charges are not automatically imposed merely because a dispute is resolved in our favor.

14. Prohibited Conduct & Enforcement

Prohibited conduct includes:

• Purchasing for human, animal, medical, cosmetic, or other prohibited non-research use, or misrepresenting research intent.
• Requesting dosing, administration, or consumption guidance, or encouraging prohibited use.
• Providing fraudulent payment information, falsifying claim documentation, or abusing shipping, payment, loyalty, or support systems.
• Violating applicable laws or threatening or harassing staff.

When available information indicates prohibited intended use or another material violation, ResearchChemHQ may refuse service, cancel an order, restrict an account, or take other lawful action.

We may retain relevant records and cooperate with payment providers or legal authorities where appropriate and permitted by law.

Nothing in this Agreement prohibits honest reviews, good-faith complaints, safety reports, or lawful communications with regulators or payment providers. Customers will not be penalized solely for posting a negative review. 

Research-use restrictions remain applicable regardless of whether a customer’s feedback is positive, neutral, or negative.

15. Limitation of Liability

ResearchChemHQ does not guarantee particular research outcomes or suitability for a customer’s specific research protocol.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, products and website services are provided “as is” and “as available.” This language does not override express product descriptions, approved policy remedies, or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ResearchChemHQ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from website use or the purchase, possession, handling, storage, transfer, or use of products.

This section does not exclude liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded. It does not eliminate required refunds, approved Shipping Protection remedies, or other express obligations under this Agreement.

Any limitation applies only to the extent allowed by the law governing the claim.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ResearchChemHQ and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, suppliers, service providers, and affiliates against third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal expenses to the extent caused by your unlawful conduct, prohibited use, material misrepresentation, or material breach of this Agreement.

This obligation does not require you to cover losses caused by ResearchChemHQ’s own negligence, misconduct, legal violations, or breach of its obligations.

A good-faith product claim, review, payment dispute, or exercise of statutory rights does not by itself create an indemnification obligation.

17. Termination of Service

ResearchChemHQ may restrict or terminate access, refuse future orders, or cancel pending orders where there are reasonable grounds to believe that this Agreement has been violated, prohibited use is intended, or fraud or another legal or safety concern exists.

Notice will be provided where required by law.

If ResearchChemHQ cancels a paid order before shipment, we will refund the amounts paid for the canceled, unshipped items and any related charges required to be refunded.

Account restrictions or termination do not eliminate existing approved claims, required refunds, or other rights and obligations that remain applicable.

18. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Mississippi and applicable United States federal law, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to the transaction.

This provision does not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived, or prevent a customer from exercising rights available under applicable law.

19. Amendments

ResearchChemHQ may update these terms from time to time. Revised terms will be posted with an updated publication date.

Updates apply prospectively, with notice or renewed acceptance where required by law.

Updates will not retroactively remove benefits, approved remedies, or claim rights attached to an earlier order.

Customers should review the applicable terms before placing each order.

20. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with the Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy applicable to your order, sets out the terms governing the covered website services, purchases, shipping, claims, returns, refunds, and customer conduct.

The specific shipping and return provisions govern their corresponding subjects. These documents must be read consistently with applicable law and any express written terms agreed for a particular transaction.

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in this section eliminates express product descriptions, approved remedies, or rights that cannot legally be waived.
