1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
This Terms of Service Agreement (“Agreement”) governs all access to and use of ResearchChemHQ.co, including any purchases, communications, content, and services operated by ResearchChemHQ (“ResearchChemHQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing the website, placing an order, or communicating with ResearchChemHQ in any form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this Agreement in its entirety. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access the website or purchase any products.
This Agreement is legally binding and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
2. Research-Use-Only Disclaimer (Critical Term)
All products sold by ResearchChemHQ are STRICTLY intended for laboratory and scientific research purposes only.
Prohibited Uses Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Human consumption or administration
- Veterinary or animal use
- Clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic use
- Food, beverage, cosmetic, or supplement use
- Compounding, resale, or redistribution for consumption
- Any use outside controlled laboratory research
No products sold by ResearchChemHQ are drugs, supplements, medicines, or consumable products.
Any statement, admission, implication, suggestion, or inference—whether written, verbal, electronic, or implied—that products are being used in a prohibited manner constitutes a material breach of this Agreement.
3. Customer Representations & Acknowledgements
By purchasing from ResearchChemHQ, you expressly represent, warrant, and agree that:
- You are at least 21 years of age
- You are purchasing products solely for lawful research purposes
- You understand the risks associated with handling research chemicals
- You possess the appropriate knowledge, equipment, and facilities for lawful handling
- You will comply with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws
- You will not misrepresent the intended use of any product
ResearchChemHQ relies entirely on customer representations regarding intended use and does not monitor or verify customer activity beyond those representations.
4. Regulatory & Legal Compliance
ResearchChemHQ supplies chemical substances intended for qualified scientific research only.
All products are labeled “For Research Use Only – Not for Human or Veterinary Use.”
As such, they are not marketed as food, drugs, medical devices, or supplements and are not subject to FDA regulations applicable to consumable products, including portions of 21 CFR Parts 100–740, when sold and used as intended.
Customers are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, including but not limited to:
- Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)
- Import/export regulations
- Workplace and laboratory safety standards
- Local chemical handling, storage, and disposal laws
5. Intellectual Property & Patent Responsibility
The listing or sale of any product does not grant a license to infringe upon any patent, trademark, or intellectual property rights.
Customers bear sole responsibility for ensuring their research activities do not violate any intellectual property or patent laws.
6. Order Processing & Shipping Speed
Order Processing
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
- Orders placed before 5:00 PM CST are generally processed within one (1) business day
- Orders placed after 5:00 PM CST, on weekends, or holidays will be processed the next business day
- Processing times are estimates, not guarantees, and may vary due to inventory, order volume, weather, or operational factors
If a product is on backorder, a notice will appear on the product page with an estimated restock timeframe.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Estimates
ResearchChemHQ partners with USPS for shipping.
Available options include:
- Priority Mail – Estimated delivery: ~3-4 business days
- Express Mail – Estimated delivery: ~1-2 business day
All delivery timelines are estimates provided solely by the carrier and are not guaranteed. USPS does not guarantee delivery dates for Priority or Express services. After a shipment is handed off to the carrier, ResearchChemHQ bears no responsibility for transit delays, delivery issues, or routing errors, and shipping fees are non-refundable in all cases.
7. All Sales Are Final
Due to the high-risk and regulated nature of research-use-only peptide and chemical materials, ALL SALES ARE FINAL once an order is placed.
ResearchChemHQ cannot modify, cancel, or issue refunds or partial refunds after checkout, except in the rare case of a verified fulfillment error caused by ResearchChemHQ.
Customers are responsible for reviewing:
- Cart contents
- Shipping address accuracy – including apartment number
- Payment details
prior to completing checkout.
8. Shipping Protection – Terms & Conditions
Customers may optionally add Shipping Protection ($4.99) at checkout. By selecting Shipping Protection, you agree to the terms below.
What Is Covered
Shipping Protection covers loss, damage, or theft while the package is in the USPS delivery system and before it is marked “Delivered.”
Delivered but Not Received
If USPS tracking shows “Delivered” but the package is missing:
- The customer must submit a Missing Mail Request through the USPS Missing Mail Portal
- USPS must investigate and confirm loss or misdelivery
- Once USPS confirms the issue, the order becomes eligible for reshipment or refund under Shipping Protection
If USPS confirms successful delivery, ResearchChemHQ’s delivery obligation is fulfilled.
Damaged Packages
- Damage claims must be reported within seven (7) days of delivery
- Photos of the damaged product and packaging are required
- Approved claims may result in a replacement or refund at ResearchChemHQ’s discretion
What Shipping Protection Does NOT Cover
- Incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer
- Packages marked as delivered without USPS confirmation of loss or misdelivery
- Carrier delays caused by weather, customs, or routing issues without confirmed loss or damage
Claim Requirements
- All claims must be submitted within thirty (30) days of the ship date
- Required documentation must be provided to process the claim
9. Refund & Return Policy
No Returns or Refunds
Due to the specialized and sensitive nature of research-use-only chemicals and peptides:
- Returns are not accepted
- Refunds are not issued for change of mind, misuse, or misunderstanding of product purpose
This policy protects regulatory compliance and product integrity.
Limited Exceptions (At Our Sole Discretion)
Damaged Orders
- Must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
- Photos required
- Replacement or partial refund may be issued if approved
Undelivered Orders
- If USPS confirms failed delivery or loss, a reshipment may be issued
Lost but “Delivered” Orders
- USPS Missing Mail investigation required
- Reshipment only if USPS confirms loss or misdelivery
Not Eligible
- Claims outside stated timeframes
- Opened, used, tampered, or improperly stored products
- Orders confirmed delivered by USPS
- Requests based on misunderstanding of research-only use
Authorized Returns (If Approved)
- 20% restocking fee applies – minimum $25
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
- Refunds issued only after inspection and approval
10. Chargeback & Payment Disputes
Unauthorized or uncommunicated chargebacks are a violation of this Agreement.
ResearchChemHQ reserves the right to:
- Permanently ban customers
- Terminate accounts
- Submit delivery confirmation and documentation to processors
- Recover fees, losses, or legal expenses if a chargeback is reversed in our favor
Customers are encouraged to contact support before initiating any payment dispute.
11. Prohibited Conduct & Enforcement
The following constitute material violations of this Agreement:
- Admitting or implying human or animal use
- Requesting dosing, administration, or consumption guidance
- Misrepresenting research intent
- Attempting to leverage prohibited use for refunds
- Encouraging misuse by others
- Public or private statements linking products to medical treatment
ResearchChemHQ may enforce these terms without notice, including refusing service, canceling orders, banning accounts, and retaining records of violations.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ResearchChemHQ shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, possession, handling, or use of any product.
All products are sold “as-is” and “as available.”
13. Indemnification
You agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless ResearchChemHQ from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or legal expenses arising from:
- Improper or unlawful use
- Violation of this Agreement
- Third-party claims related to your conduct
14. Termination of Service
ResearchChemHQ may terminate or restrict access to services at its sole discretion, with or without notice, for any violation of this Agreement.
Termination does not waive any rights or remedies available under law.
15. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ResearchChemHQ is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
16. Amendments
ResearchChemHQ reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
17. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the customer and ResearchChemHQ and supersedes all prior communications or representations.
